V.20 Formats

GUIDED CITY WALKS
In addition to the festival center at the Kunstmuseum Bonn, the VIDEONALE.20 presents various video works in Bonn's urban space. The exhibition stations range from a former centrifuge to a vacant store, a club in Bonn's city center and a van.

CHILDREN'S SHORT FILM PROGRAM
During the Easter holidays (13 to 27 April 2025), we will be offering a children's program with animated short films for children aged five and older, along with their adult companions, in the middle of the Videonale exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Bonn. The program will run daily from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

RESONANZEN
In the RESONANZEN format, we approach different works together with individual VIDEONALE.20 artists. The aim of the format is to expand the resonance space of individual video works.

INTRODUCTIONS
In guided situations, the INTRODUCTIONS offer a multifaceted approach to works of art from the VIDEONALE.20. The aim is to intensify the holistic perception of video art through various approaches (e.g. physical, linguistic, textual, via sound/music).

JUNGE VIDEONALE
Art classes from the Carl von Ossietzky-Gymnasium Bonn, the Archdiocesan St. Joseph-Gymnasium Rheinbach, and the Kaiserin-Theophanu-Schule, Cologne have created their own works in response to the videos of VIDEONALE.20.

VIDEO EVENINGS
With the Video Evenings in the months leading up to the start of the festival from mid-November 2024 to mid-March 2025, people of Bonn had the opportunity to encounter video artworks from V.20 in previews at various locations in Bonn.
