Kunstmuseum Bonn

The Kunstmuseum Bonn, designed by Berlin based architect Axel Schultes, was opened in 1992. In addition to an extensive collection of works by August Macke, the art of the Rhenish Expressionists and art after 1945, it houses one of the most important collections of early video art from the estate of the collector and gallery owner Ingrid Oppenheim, who also founded one of the first video galleries, the Oppenheim Studio. With the VIDEONALE, which has been held at the museum every two years since 2005, we therefore feel that we are in very good hands in this context.
